Penn Foster Career School Partners with Instructional Video Firm for Added Resource for Career Programs

October 13, 2015

SCRANTON, PA (October 14, 2015) — Penn Foster Career School, a leader in career-focused online and blended education designed to address the skills gap in America, today announced their partnership with TN Marketing (TNM), a company that maintains high-quality instructional video content through online streaming. Through this partnership, Penn Foster is able to offer an additional benefit for students in several of the school’s career programs.

“These content-specific video channels will be of great added value for students looking to learn a new skill or trade such as auto repair, dressmaking, or woodworking,” said Dara Warn, chief product and strategy officer at Penn Foster. “Our goal is to help prepare our students academically and professionally, and to help them feel confident in pursuing or furthering their career. These new resources can help to do just that by enriching their learning experience.”

Now, Penn Foster students will receive special pricing to premium online video channels with content that complements their course such as Auto Repair Technician, Gunsmith, and Dressmaking and Design. Each subscription will include unlimited access to hundreds of premium how-to videos from industry and trade experts that go over detailed step-by-step instructions. Students can access these videos anytime on their laptop or mobile devices, and will have access to a library of professional answers to technical questions pertaining to the trade.

“We’re very excited to partner with Penn Foster to offer their students these resources,” said Dennis Santopietro, senior digital brand manager at TNM. “We know our audiences’ passions. And for a Career School that’s heavily focused on providing students with training in specific trade skills such as woodworking and quilting, our video assets should compliment a Penn Foster student’s education very nicely.”

New students and current students in each of these programs will be informed of these special offers for a 12-month discounted introductory membership price. Each TNM video platform hosts videos that can be an optional supplementary resource to students. Students will be able to enjoy learning from the trade experts in classic car restoration, personal defense, woodworking, sewing, quilting, and motorcycle repair.
