SCRANTON, PA, (November 16, 2016) — Penn Foster Career School, a provider of diploma and certificate programs designed to augment learners' skills to increase employability for in-demand fields, today announced it will offer a Microsoft® Office 2016 Certificate Program. With two-thirds of all middle-skill job openings requiring proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft® Word,® Excel,® and PowerPoint,® this program is designed to prepare students to acquire these latest transferable and highly-sought after job skills. In addition, all Penn Foster programs that offer Microsoft® Office courses will be updated to Microsoft® Office 2016 coursework.
The program is designed to help students improve their computer application skills for a variety of office environments, and offers students hands-on practice using Office applications. Students will learn Microsoft® Word,® Excel,® Powerpoint,® and how to integrate MS applications. Students can complete the program in two months, after which they will receive a certificate of completion. The program will be available to students in the U.S., ICS Canada, and Penn Foster International beginning November 16th.
