New Service Provides Fast and Easy Access to Credential
SCRANTON, PA (August 15, 2017) — Penn Foster, a leading skills solutions organization focused on providing competencies, career pathways, and employment matching for today's evolving workforce, has taken the next step in its partnership with Parchment and is now offering Penn Foster graduates the option of receiving a digital diploma. This new "eDiploma" service will allow new graduates fast, easy, and secure access to proof of their accomplishment, as well as empower on average more than 1,300 alumni annually who request a replacement diploma.

Penn Foster partnered with Parchment in 2013, building out a platform that allows students to automate the transcript ordering process-an enhancement that saw triple digit growth in orders. The two organizations are now teaming up to roll out the eDiploma feature to Penn Foster's domestic and international high school, career school, and certificate graduates.

The eDiploma will be securely emailed directly to students or to another institution upon request with a Parchment Blue Ribbon Security document stating the validity of the eDiploma. With documents arriving in students' inboxes 15 minutes after placing their order, graduates now have quick access to their diplomas for any situation that may arise. The entire process has been automated, providing a seamless experience for graduates to confidently prepare to take the next steps in their careers.
