Former Executive Director of Cengage/ed2go Joins Company to Expand Access to Employer-Focused Skills Training and Education
SCRANTON, PA (November 8, 2017) — Penn Foster, a leading skills solutions organization focused on building a talent pipeline for individuals and corporations, today announced it has named Ronald Stefanski as Managing Director for Corporate Education. In this role, Stefanski will be instrumental in helping employers and other partners reskill and upskill their workforce to fill talent gaps at scale through Penn Foster's platform, services and partner network.
Stefanski brings a wealth of directly relevant experience to the company, most recently as former executive director and chief business development office of ed2go, a division of Cengage. Stefanski had been with Cengage since 2004, starting as vice president in its Gale library division.

Prior to Cengage, Stefanski served as executive director for the Michigan Virtual University, a state agency launched by Governor John Engler, and designed to incubate e-learning across Michigan's educational and workforce ecosystem. There Stefanski was instrumental in launching the Michigan Virtual High School, which became the second largest public online high school in the country.

Stefanski earned his Bachelor's degree cum laude in English and Art History from the University of Michigan. Ron and his wife reside in Detroit, where they are passionately involved in Detroit's recovery efforts.
