Subway, in partnership with Penn Foster, is making it easier for employees to get high school and college degrees.

The franchise also gives employees access to career readiness training through their pilot program with the school. Michael Robling, an operations specialist at Subway for North America, thinks that providing these resources to employees is just a start. “Robling says he thinks more employers will begin to invest in benefits that help workers achieve higher education goals,” writes Benefit News. “Employees at Subway are appreciative of the opportunity and it may help the company retain workers long-term.”
