Natalie Novelo Palacio, recently elected as the Vice President of the Belize Energy Workers Union (BEWU), is the first woman to hold the title. With a family history of strong, independent, and successful women, Novelo-Palacio set her mind to building a career of her own. After working in public relations for 6 years, she joined the Belize Energy Workers Union where she quickly became interested in doing more. She enhanced her skills and abilities at work by training online with both Penn Foster and Harvard Business School Online.
