New Penn Foster Group Research Explores Atlanta Talent Pool, Labor Shortages

A recent Penn Foster Group survey of 252 Atlanta-area employers and HR professionals found that, while more than half believe that Atlanta has a strong talent pool, employers are still facing labor shortages that impact their businesses and potential growth. Competing to attract qualified entry-level applicants, many are reconsidering job requirements and moving away from requiring four-year degrees as a necessary qualification. A solution to hiring gaps, for many of those surveyed, could be partnering with education providers to train and upskill new and incumbent workers.
