Penn Foster is thrilled to be attending and speaking at LearnLaunch Institute's 2018 Across Boundaries Conference next week (February 1-2) at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA. Last year's conference welcomed a record number of attendees, numbering over one thousand participants representing thirty-three states. As we near the sixth annual conference, we are looking forward to having the opportunity to meet with so many innovators in the edtech industry.

LearnLaunch Institute, a Boston based nonprofit, works extensively with the education innovation industry across the country. Their annual Across Boundaries Conference, "brings together an edtech community- from New England and beyond- interested in driving innovation to transform learning and increase achievement using digital technologies." The unique community LearnLaunch brings together is comprised of educational professionals and associations, digital learner providers, representatives of K-12 districts and schools, representatives of higher education institutions, and numerous foundations, among others.

The members of this dynamic community will share their insights on everything from personalized learning, to refugee education and training, the current state of the edtech market, redesigning high schools, and more. These ideas are presented by various speakers throughout the two-day conference. Among the talented speakers are Penn Foster CEO Frank Britt and Chief Outcomes Officer Dara Warn.

CEO Britt is among three panelists speaking on the "Edtech in the Enterprise" panel on the conference's first day, February 1st, from 11:30 am- 12:15 pm. Moderating "Edtech in the Enterprise" is Mark Miller, Chairman of LearnLaunch and Managing Director of Good Harbor Partners. The following day, from 1:15-2:00 pm, COO Warn will join three other panelists discussing "Skills Development for Adults Without Higher Ed Degrees." Warn's fellow panelists include Founder and President of Match Beyond, Mike Larsson. Both panels are integral to the overall conference theme of educational innovation through technology. Britt and Warn bring with them to these panels, years of experience in the edtech industy and a passion for driving student achievement.

The Across Boundaries Conference is occurring at a pivotal moment in the education industry as the need for accessible education is so great for students at every point in their academic and/or professional career. Penn Foster is excited and proud to be a part of the ever-innovating edtech community and to participate in next week's conference.
