TAMPA, FL, (September 15, 2016) — BluePearl Veterinary Partners, a national provider of specialty and emergency veterinary care, and Penn Foster, a leading provider of skills training and education solutions for corporations, today announced the launch of a program that gives BluePearl associates an affordable pathway to becoming a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT).
BluePearl will allow eligible associates to enroll in the Penn Foster Associate Degree program to reach their career goal of becoming a CVT. BluePearl is offering up to 90 percent tuition assistance, demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing career enhancements for its associates and increasing the number of CVTs in the profession.

Penn Foster’s online program is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and is tailored for working adults. It consists of four semesters, designed to give students the skills they will use in the field as veterinary technicians. The program also includes two hands-on externships for students to enhance the skills learned in their academic classes. After finishing the program, associates will be eligible to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
